Job Summary
Prepares and serves meals in the dining rooms and transports foods to the health center, with a focus on delivering quality service to residents. Requires following diet orders and interpreting specifications, maintaining sanitation, and assisting with cleanup. Must interact positively with seniors, communicate effectively, and perform basic arithmetic. Requires ability to plan and organize work and lift up to 50lbs; previous senior living food service experience preferred. Includes full-time and part-time schedules with comprehensive benefits and daily-pay option. Located in Towson, MD.
Required Qualifications
- Prepares and serves meals in various dining rooms
- Transports hot and cold foods to and from the health center
- Assists with cleanup and sanitation
- Able to follow diet orders and interpret specifications and standards
- Create positive interactions with seniors
- Follow instructions, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic
- Ability to plan and organize work
- Previous experience in senior living food service preferred
- Must be able to be on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs
- Pass preemployment screening: fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test, and employment references
