Job Summary
Dietary Aide responsible for preparing and serving meals and snacks according to menus and dietary guidelines, setting up/breaking down dining areas, delivering meal trays, washing dishes, maintaining kitchen and dining-area sanitation, following food safety and infection-control procedures, stocking supplies, and assisting with coordination with dietary and nursing staff to ensure residents receive courteous, high-quality service in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Requires teamwork, strong customer service, dependability, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous dietary, food service, restaurant, or healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Must be reliable and maintain regular attendance.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds throughout the shift.
