Job Summary
Provide high-quality meal service and maintain a sanitary dining environment. Accurately take orders, relay them to kitchen staff, and ensure hot food is served hot while learning individual resident dietary needs. Oversee bistro areas for food presentation, stock supplies, and beverage management. Sanitize tables, reset settings, and vacuum floors after each meal. Assist with special functions and participate in the Quality Assurance Committee as directed. Work full-time Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. with two consecutive days off.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Knowledge of and ability to meet regulations of ADA, state, infection and control, health department, and OSHA
- Must serve hot food hot and cold food cold
- Attend all trainings, orientation, and mandatory meetings
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in the dietary department of a health care facility or restaurant
