Job Summary
Dietary Aide - Server in an Assisted Living setting: assists with food preparation and service, delivers meals to resident rooms or tables, sets up meal trays, maintains sanitation, supports dietary operations, and participates in training. Requires a State-mandated Food Handler Permit and at least some high school education. Primary duties include portion-controlled meal service, equipment/dining room cleanliness, proper storage and labeling of food, temperature logging, and adherence to safety, privacy, and confidentiality standards. Strong emphasis on resident dignity, teamwork with dietary staff, and attending training sessions. Salary starts at $18.00/hour (DOE) with potential for higher based on experience.
