Job Summary
Dietary Aide provides food service to residents, prepares meals per diet orders, delivers meals on schedule, maintains clean and sanitized kitchen, and adheres to food safety and sanitation policies and procedures. Responsibilities include using kitchen equipment safely, labeling and storing foods per regulations, and assisting in all dietary functions as directed. The role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and the ability to lift or move objects over 50 pounds; shift is varied with every other weekend. Experience in food service is preferred in a long-term care or senior living setting.
