Job Summary
Assist cooks with preparing and serving quality meals while following safety and sanitation standards; deliver hot and cold foods, beverages, and nourishments to residents and designated locations; serve meals in collaboration with nursing team members in Healthcare and Personal Care areas; prepare toast, coffee, and beverages for meals; portion and serve sandwiches, salads, fruit, desserts, and condiments; set tables, clear dishes, and sanitize dining areas after meals; operate and maintain dishwashing equipment; stock and organize kitchen supplies as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of safe and sanitary food handling practices (we’ll train you!)
- Good personal hygiene and professional appearance
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions
- A positive, respectful, and team-oriented attitude
