Job Summary
Assist with meal preparation, serving, and table setup while following residents' specific diets and food preferences. Take menu orders directly from residents and ensure all food handling techniques meet safety standards. Maintain a safe and clean dining environment by properly sanitizing tables and adhering to health protocols. This role supports seniors at Sienna Senior Living in Brampton, fostering meaningful connections through compassionate dietary care. A valid Safe Food Handler's Certificate is required, along with a Vulnerable Sector Check.
Required Qualifications
- Have a valid Safe Food Handler's Certificate or willing to obtain
- You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work permit
- You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and/or Criminal Record Check applicable to the appropriate province
Desired Qualifications
- While possessing a Food Service Worker Certificate would be excellent, it's not a requirement
