Job Summary
Prepare meals in compliance with established dietary guidelines, nutritional standards, and specialty needs for adolescents facing behavioral challenges and medically complex physical conditions. Collaborate with dietitians and healthcare providers to tailor meals for specific patient requirements. Serve meals promptly with proper portioning and presentations to ensure a positive dining experience. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment while adhering to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including safe food handling practices. Monitor food supply levels, assist with ordering, and restock ingredients as needed. Complete required food safety certification within 30 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least twenty-one (21) years of age
Desired Qualifications
- Valid Missouri Driver's License
- Experience in a mental health setting
- Knowledge of child/adolescent growth and development
- Ability to relate to adolescents with substance abuse or mental health problems
- Serve Safe certification
