Job Summary
Ensure efficient, timely, and friendly service to all residents, staff, and guests. Assist with meeting or exceeding residents' dining expectations by maintaining proper cleaning, storage, and availability of cookware, dishware, and dining areas. Keep food prep, dining, and dish room areas clean and sanitary while following all food safety, equipment safety, and community quality standards. Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively, work in a team, and handle resident complaints. Must possess Serv-Safe certification or be willing to obtain it upon hire.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and comprehend the same
- Willingness to learn new food preparation techniques and presentation
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a team
- Must display team behaviors
- Ability to effectively deal with conflict or resident complaints
- Ability to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Follows all food safety and equipment safety procedures
- Knowledge of and compliance with community quality standards and requirements
- Must be dependable, punctual, self-motivated, and able to work without constant supervision
- Must possess Serv-Safe certification, or willing to obtain upon hire
