Job Summary
Assist in preparing and serving meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines, including special diets such as diabetic, low-sodium, or gluten-free. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen and dining areas by washing dishes, cleaning tables, and sanitizing equipment while following all food safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels for food supplies, condiments, and utensils, notifying the dietary supervisor when supplies need to be ordered. Provide excellent customer service to residents, patients, and families by responding to questions and special requests promptly. Work closely with cooks, dietary supervisors, and other kitchen staff to ensure the efficient operation of meal service.

- Previous experience in food service
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment
