Job Summary
Set tables and maintain work stations in dining rooms. Take orders, provide service, and clear dishes during and after meal service. Answer questions about menu items and assist with dish washing and distribution. Maintain safe, sanitary conditions and complete assigned cleaning tasks. Adhere to department dress code and attend in-service training. Work indoors standing or walking for the full shift, lifting up to 20 lbs and pushing carts weighing 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 16 years of age to apply
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to interpret and explain menu
- Ability to refer or answer questions
- Ability to coordinate meal service process
- Ability to understand requests
- Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and peers

- Must be able to stand/walk for 100% of the work day
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. independently
- Must be able to push and pull bus carts weighing up to 50 lbs. independently
- Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, and balance frequently throughout the work day

Desired Qualifications
- Experience waiting tables in a hotel, restaurant or club with fine dining preferred
