Job Summary
Dietary Aide provides assistance in all food service functions to ensure patients’ dining needs are met in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Daily responsibilities include assisting in food preparation and serving, while maintaining clean and sanitary conditions. Works with multidisciplinary teams to support quality patient care and adheres to Life Care policies and procedures. Emphasizes excellent customer service and uses good judgment in concentrating on tasks and responsibilities. An Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Prior health-care experience preferred
- Prior food services experience preferred
- Implement and interpret department programs
- Maintain professional relationships with associates and vendors
- Exhibit excellent customer service and positive attitude towards patients
- Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
