Job Summary
Dietary Aide provides assistance in food preparation and serving to meet patients’ dining needs, while maintaining clean and sanitary conditions. Works evenings: 12:30-8:30 or 3:30-8:30. Joins Life Care Centers of America team, affiliated with Life Care Sandpoint, to support quality patient care through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and adherence to Life Care standards and applicable laws. Requires high school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior health-care and food services experience preferred. Responsibilities include executing food service functions, assisting in meal preparation, and maintaining sanitary conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Prior health-care experience preferred
- Prior food services experience preferred
- Implement and interpret department policies and procedures
- Maintain professional relationships with associates and vendors
- Exhibit excellent customer service and positive attitude towards patients
- Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
