Job Summary
Dietary Aide responsible for handling, transporting and plating food for residents and guests; prepares and plates meals according to dietary guidelines and special diets; maintains sanitation and cleanliness of food service areas, facilities, and equipment; assists in meal service, communicates shortages or outages to supervisor, and participates in daily logs and documentation; requires standing for long periods, ability to lift up to 25 pounds, fluency in English, and teamwork to support a positive environment in a senior living community.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma (or equivalent) or technical school
- Strong ability to work independently and manage meal service for 20 residents
- Some food service work experience
- Great communication skills
