Job Summary
Prepare, serve, and clean meals for Assisted Living and Terrace residents while adhering to ordered diets and food safety standards. Set up delivery carts, clear tables, and operate kitchen equipment in compliance with infection control and sanitation procedures. Read the Diet Roster to address individual resident preferences and special needs. Work Tuesday through Saturday from 6:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Food Handler's Certificate or ability to obtain within 14 days of hire
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- Ability to read and understand the Diet Roster for Assisted Living/Terrace residents
- Ability to perform dietary functions in a health care setting
- Ability to perform duties in compliance with established Universal Precautions, fire safety, infection control and sanitation procedures, and state & federal regulatory requirements
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Ability to pass DSHS background check
- Availability for Tuesday - Thursday, 6:00AM to 2:30PM, and Friday - Saturday, 3:00PM to 7:30PM shifts
