Job Summary
Provide accurate dietary services for residents, including food preparation and assistance to cooks, serving meals, and maintaining a clean and safe dining/kitchen area. Follow safety, life safety, and infection control policies; honor resident dietary preferences; stock and organize storerooms; assist with tray preparation and ensure proper food handling and storage per menus. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations; participate in family dining arrangements as needed; daily pay option available.
Required Qualifications
- Must complete orientation required by company policy.
- Must complete health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment.
- Must complete mandatory drug test upon hire.
- Must be free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check.
- Must become familiar with and comply with all local, state, and federal regulations relating to the job.
- Must show, within three (3) days of hire, satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment.
- Must have a current Food Handler’s Permit.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Dietary Aide or similar role
