Job Summary
Prepare and portion food items following recipes and menus, then set up and deliver meals to residents. Wash and store pots, pans, dishes, and utensils while sweeping and mopping floors to maintain a clean, sanitary work environment. Put away stock on delivery days and ensure all areas comply with facility, OBRA, and regulatory standards. Maintain resident confidentiality and privacy. Perform other duties as assigned. Full-time position requiring an understanding of safe dietary procedures and geriatric care.
Required Qualifications
- Have an understanding of the safe dietary procedures and the geriatric community
- Willingness to work for the best interest of the residents and facility
- Ability to work as part of a team and partnering with other departments
Desired Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- Some Dietary experience
