Job Summary
Assist in the kitchen prior to, during, and after meals by serving food, pouring beverages, and preparing nourishment snacks. Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, utensils, and food storage by cleaning tables, sweeping floors, performing dishwashing, and disposing of waste in accordance with safety policies. Comply with personnel, infection control, and universal precaution procedures while treating residents, families, and team members with dignity and respect. Report witnessed abuse, hazardous conditions, accidents, or missing safety data sheets immediately to supervisors. Ensure all dietary procedures follow established protocols and assist in resident evacuation during emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Must be able to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary
- Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations
- Must be able to perform the essential position functions of the job with, or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and, at times, hostile people within the Community
- Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure that the requirements of this position can be fully met
- Lift up to 10 lbs: Constantly

- Twisting, Bending, Crawling, Squatting, Kneeling, Crouching, Climbing and Balancing may be required
- Must successfully complete the requirements contained in Company's Motor Vehicles policy (if required to operate a motor vehicle for business purposes)
