Dietary Aide

Assist in preparing and serving meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines, including special diets such as diabetic, low-sodium, or gluten-free. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes, cleaning tables, and sanitizing equipment. Prepare food trays, deliver meals to residents or patients, and assist with food delivery to common areas or individual rooms as needed. Monitor inventory levels and notify the dietary supervisor when supplies need to be ordered. Provide excellent customer service to residents, patients, and families, responding to questions and special requests promptly and courteously. Work closely with cooks, dietary supervisors, and other kitchen staff to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of meal service.
