Job Summary
Dietary Aide to assist in post-acute healthcare kitchen operations. Responsibilities include setting up meal trays, stripping and washing dishes, assisting with serving meals, checking chlorine concentration and water temperature of the dishwashing machine, observing dishwasher cycles, operating the dishwasher, preparing nourishments and snacks, cleaning and sanitizing kitchen surfaces, sweeping/mopping floors, taking out trash, putting groceries away, and supporting orientation and ongoing training of dietary staff. Must work cooperatively with personnel across departments and follow recipes and technical procedures as directed by the Cook or Dietary Supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must obtain and maintain food handlers’ certificate
