Job Summary
Dietary Aide works under the supervision of the Culinary Manager; responsibilities include food preparation, production control, inventory control, kitchen safety, sanitation, equipment use and cleaning/sanitizing, food safety, recipe adherence, therapeutic diets, modified textured foods/liquids, maintaining a clean and safe work area, assisting dietary cooks, and general sanitation tasks. Preferred ServSafe or Food Handler certification; experience in long-term care environment is encouraged.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in customer service
- Minimum one (1) year of food service experience
- Must be able to speak, read and write English to communicate effectively with others
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays with flexible hours
- Background in safety and sanitation compliance
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
- Must be local to Phoenix, AZ and surrounding areas
- Must be able to speak and read English fluently
