Job Summary
Prepares, portions, and serves food for regular and therapeutic diets according to planned menus and production sheets. Handles food using proper safety techniques, maintains correct temperatures, and records food temperatures per policy. Ensures meals are served attractively and tastes quality standards before service. Follows procedures for serving partner meals while communicating warmly with residents, families, and visitors to address concerns professionally. Works full-time shifts including holidays and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 10th grade education
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
- Ability to interpret and implement written or oral policies, procedures, and instructions
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
- Effective communication skills
- Availability to work holidays and weekends
