Job Summary
Provide assistance in all food functions as directed and in accordance with established food procedures at the Georgia War Veterans Home. Move intermittently throughout the day, pushing, pulling, and lifting a minimum of 25 lbs while maintaining effective communication with residents, personnel, and support agencies. Required Qualifications
- Ability to move intermittently throughout the day
- Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to meet the requirements of the position
- Must function independently
- Must have flexibility
- Must have personal integrity
- Must have the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies
- Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs
- Effective English communication skills
- Professional demeanor with resident community
- Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent
