Job Summary
Prepare food items, serve trays, handle soiled dishes, and clean work areas while following recipe directions, diet orders, tray cards, and work assignments. Operate dietary equipment and perform routine tasks with frequent interruptions, demonstrating comfort around cleaning agents and chemicals. Maintain a patient and tolerant demeanor as part of the Dietary Team, working every other weekend in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to understand and follow recipe directions, diet orders, tray cards, and work assignments
- Willingness and ability to perform routine tasks with frequent interruptions
- Comfort around cleaning agents and chemicals
- Ability to work with other various work routines such as preparing food items, serving trays, handling soiled dishes, operating dietary equipment, and cleaning work area
- Patient and tolerant
- Ability to work every other weekend
