Job Summary
Prepare and deliver meals for patients under the guidance of the Chef or Dietitian; assist in food preparation and dining service, including serving food at designated times and rooms; communicate allergies or restrictions to Dietitians to help create appropriate plans; follow sanitation, safety, and health standards; maintain cleanliness of prep areas and dining spaces; assist in setting up and clearing dining areas; provide customer service during nutrition delivery; work with residents and healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate nutrition throughout the day; guided by a lead Dietitian or Chef who oversees distribution of food and drinks; demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, teamwork, and compassion in serving senior residents.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Current Food Handler’s Permit is required
