Job Summary
Prepare and portion food for regular and therapeutic diets according to the planned menu and established policies. Handle food using proper safety techniques, clean and sanitize all equipment, and complete general maintenance of the work area. Assist with stocking the Dietary department, operate dish machines, and maintain records regarding patient diet information. Utilize concepts of age and developmental stages in interactions with patients and families. Requires a Food Handler's permit, current driver's license, and acceptable driving record. Full-time position in Eau Claire, WI.
Required Qualifications

- Knowledge of patient diets
- Knowledge of safe food handling requirements
- Use of Nutritional Care Manual
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
- Proficiency with general computer skills including data entry, word processing, email, and records management
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, push, and pull often for prolonged periods
- Lifting/exerting of up to 50 lbs
- Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and computer keyboard
- Close vision and the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to hear overhead page
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 year experience in healthcare food services
