Job Summary
The Dietary Aide assists the Cook in the preparation and service of meals while ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures. Responsibilities include placing prepared food on plates/trays, delivering food and trays, washing dishes, and sanitizing the kitchen to meet health standards. Candidates must be detail-oriented, dependable, and possess general knowledge of nutrition and quantity food production methods. Written and oral communication skills are essential, along with the ability to follow schedules for meal preparation and serving.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Required to successfully complete an approved sanitation and safety course within 60 days
