Job Summary
Prepare beverages, clean and wash dishes, and assist with meal service while following food safety requirements and resident diet orders. Keep foods safe using time and temperature control guidelines, cleans and sanitizes food contact surfaces and work areas, and washes dishes, tableware, and kitchen equipment for storage. Serve meals in the dining room, resident rooms, or at the Independent Living Facility. Work rotating weekends and holidays on the Day shift at Marinuka Manor. Full-time and part-time openings available.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Full Time Day Shift - 75 hours/pay period
- Part Time Day Shift - 52.5 hours/pay period
- Part Time Day shift - 14.5 hours/pay period
- Part Time/Casual Call
- Responsible for keeping foods safe, using time and temperature control for safety guidelines
- Follows resident's diet orders and preferences when serving meals
- Cleans and sanitizes food contact surfaces and work area routinely, ensuring the highest degree of sanitation
- Washes and sanitizes dishes, tableware, glasses, and other kitchen and dining room equipment/surfaces and ensures they are stored in a sanitary and orderly fashion
- May serve meals in the dining room or to resident rooms or at Independent Living Facility
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in Assisted Living or Long-Term Care Food Service
