Dietary Aide

Assists in the preparation and service of meals for patients, employees, and special events as instructed by the Culinary Director. Serves food and snacks according to the planned menu and patients’ diet orders, uses proper food handling/safety techniques, ensures on-time completion per menu and residents’ diet orders, and may wash dishes or perform other duties as assigned by the Culinary Director. Must have a high school education; experience in food prep and service is preferred, especially in a skilled nursing/term care facility; food handler’s permit is preferred.
