Job Summary
Assist with meal preparation, delivery, and service clean-up in accordance with Department of Food & Nutrition Services policies and regulatory standards. Collect and wash dishes and utensils, ensuring highest cleanliness and sanitation standards. Properly handle chemicals and cleaning compounds using personal protective equipment and follow safety guidelines. Maintain work areas by sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing equipment while adhering to infection control procedures. Safely utilize equipment and report any needing service or repair. Promote positive customer service with residents, family members, guests, and team members. Food Handlers Certification required before working in the kitchen; experience in healthcare preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a ROCKSTAR attitude
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language
- Food Handlers Certification required to be presented during orientation/before working in the kitchen
- Have the ability to safely perform movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance in accordance with FPACP attendance policy
- Use appropriate workplace behavior; always adhere to the Department Food & Nutrition Services dress code

- Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
