Job Summary
Assist with meal preparation, delivery, and service clean-up while adhering to regulatory standards and Department of Food & Nutrition Services policies. Collect and wash dishes, properly handle chemicals using personal protective equipment, and maintain work areas according to sanitation and infection control procedures. Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing while safely utilizing equipment and reporting any service needs. Promote positive customer service with residents, family members, guests, and team members. Requires Food Handlers Certification and experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a ROCKSTAR attitude
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language
- Food Handlers Certification required to be presented during orientation/before working in the kitchen
- Have the ability to safely perform movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance in accordance with FPACP attendance policy
- Use appropriate workplace behavior; always adhere to the Department Food & Nutrition Services dress code
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
