Job Summary
Dietary Aide needed to assist with meal preparation, delivery, and meal service cleanup in a post-acute/long-term care setting, under FPACP policies. Responsibilities include aiding cook with food prep and delivery, collecting and washing dishes, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, safely handling chemicals with PPE, operating kitchen equipment, adhering to dress code and safety policies, and supporting resident/family interactions with a ROCKSTAR service mindset. Must have a Food Handlers Certification at orientation and be able to perform physical tasks (lifting up to 50 pounds) and work as scheduled including weekends/evenings/holidays. Office location is Houston, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Food Handlers Certification required to be presented during orientation/before working in the kitchen
- Ability to read, write and speak English and communicate effectively
- Experience in healthcare setting preferred
