Job Summary
Prepare salads, appetizers, sandwiches, and other cold dishes plus therapeutic meals; deliver meals to health care residents and independent living residents, following diet lists and menu cards. Maintain sanitation and safety of workstations, assist with tray assembly and delivery, and ensure accurate portioning and presentation. Work full-time from 4:00 am to 12:00 pm at Arcadia Retirement Residence, Honolulu, HI, with pay $17.42-$19.60 per hour. Education includes high school diploma or GED; training toward CNAs may be pursued. Responsibilities include food preparation, portion control, tray delivery, and adherence to infection-control policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or equivalent
- Ability to prepare salads, sandwiches, soups, beverages, dressings, and therapeutic meals
- Deliver meals to health care residents
- Ability to follow diet lists and menu cards
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Infection control policies adherence
- Computer skills for forms and online training
