Job Summary
Dietary Aide at Allure of Knox County (Galesburg, IL) — full/part-time role on evening team focused on meal preparation, serving, and delivering meals to residents. Responsibilities include assisting with meal prep and serving per food safety standards, inspecting diet trays for dietary restrictions, verifying meal tray accuracy, resolving tray issues, offering suitable alternatives, monitoring residents’ eating and reporting swallowing or appetite concerns, helping the Cook with stock and ordering, maintaining kitchen and dining area cleanliness, sanitizing surfaces, washing dishes, handling room service delivery, complying with sanitation regulations, and using PPE as required. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, eligibility for the IDPH Health Care Worker Registry, CPR certification, and Food Handler Certification as required by the State of Illinois.
