Job Summary
Review, prepare, and serve meals in accordance with planned menus, standardized recipes, and special diet orders. Prepare bedtime snacks and substitute foods for residents who refuse served items. Maintain a clean and safe environment by ensuring equipment is maintained and Infection Control Precautions are followed. Perform dishwashing, cleaning procedures, and sweep/mop floors in kitchen and dish rooms. Deliver snacks, food carts, and trays to designated areas while serving food and drinks in the dining room. Conduct regular inspections of food service areas for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned duties. Submit application for this full-time position at ALIYA of Highwood.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace
