Job Summary
Follow the Certified Dietary Manager and state guidelines to prepare, serve, and clean dining hall meals. Assist with food prep and cooking using universal precautions, prepare and serve beverages, set up and pass trays, and stock the snack cart. Bus tables and trays, clean the kitchen work area, and wash dishes while adhering to proper handwashing guidelines. Additional special projects or tasks may be assigned by the CDM or Executive Director. A Texas Food Handler Certificate is required, with commercial kitchen experience preferred.
