Dietary Aide (85203)

Dietary Aide assists with food preparation and cooking following universal precautions and state/federal regulations, serves beverages, passes trays for meal service, stocks snack cart, buses dining tables, cleans kitchen areas and dishes, and performs dishwashing while following proper handwashing guidelines. Additional projects may be assigned by the CDM or Executive Director. Education/Training includes a High School diploma or equivalent preferred; licensure requires Texas Food Handler Certificate; experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred. Physical duties include lifting, standing, walking, reaching, and other actions as outlined. The role focuses on supporting dining services for residents in a nursing/rehabilitation setting.
