Dietary Aide (82711)

The Dietary Aide is responsible for following the direction of the Certified Dietary Manager and state guidelines to ensure proper food preparation and service to residents. Key responsibilities include assisting with food prep and cooking, preparing and serving beverages, setting up and passing trays for meal service, stocking the snack cart, bussing tables, cleaning the kitchen and dining area, and washing dishes. The role requires knowledge of proper handwashing guidelines and an understanding of state and federal regulations. The position is ideally suited for individuals with experience in a commercial kitchen.
