Job Summary
Dietary Aide/Dining Server at Fairmount Homes in Ephrata, PA (Part-Time, 24 hours/week). The role involves delivering meals to residents in Skilled Nursing and Personal Care areas, maintaining food safety and sanitation, assisting cooks with cold food prep, stocking and cleaning service kitchens, and coordinating with nursing staff to ensure dietary orders are met. Requires basic knowledge of safe food handling, ability to read and follow instructions, a customer-focused attitude, and alignment with the organization’s mission and values. - Essential Responsibilities: Ensure residents receive meals that meet their dietary orders; Deliver hot and cold foods and beverages to designated areas for each meal; Check, record, and report refrigerator/freezer temperatures in service kitchens; Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in all work areas; Partner with nursing staff to serve meals in Healthcare and Personal Care; Assist cooks with cold food preparation and portioning; Stock service kitchens with food, supplements, and supplies between meals; Help with dishwashing and cleanup after meals; Assist with receiving and inventory as needed; Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team
