Job Summary
Dietary Aide responsible for delivering meals and supporting dining services for residents in a Skilled Nursing/Personal Care setting. Responsibilities include serving meals to residents, ensuring meals meet dietary orders, maintaining food safety and sanitation, recording temperatures, collaborating with nursing staff, assisting cooks with cold food prep, stocking service kitchens, and helping with dishwashing and cleanup. The role provides opportunities to learn basic cooking skills, participate in a team-oriented environment, and contribute to compassionate resident care. Hours are part-time (24 hours/week) with morning and midday shifts, including every other weekend and holiday rotation. Starting pay ranges from $17.55 to $18.95 per hour, with shift differentials available. Benefits include PTO, 401K, and medical/dental/vision.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of safe and sanitary food and equipment handling practices
- Personal hygiene and dress must meet required standards
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions
- A customer-oriented, conscientious attitude

- Deliver hot and cold foods and beverages to designated areas for each meal
- Check, record, and report refrigerator/freezer temperatures in service kitchens
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in all work areas
- Partner with nursing staff to serve meals in Healthcare and Personal Care
- Assist cooks with cold food preparation and portioning
- Stock service kitchens with food, supplements, and supplies between meals
- Help with dishwashing and cleanup after meals
- Assist with receiving and inventory as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team
