Job Summary
Ensure efficient, timely, and friendly service to all residents, staff, and guests while assisting with meeting or exceeding dining expectations. Maintain proper cleaning, storage, and availability of cookware, dishware, and dining areas, ensuring all spaces remain clean, sanitary, and compliant with community quality standards. Follow all food safety and equipment safety procedures, including Serv-Safe certification requirements, while demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively, work within a team, and handle resident complaints. Focus on multiple tasks simultaneously and display dependability without constant supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and comprehend the same
- Willingness to learn new food preparation techniques and presentation
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a team
- Must display team behaviors
- Ability to effectively deal with conflict or resident complaints
- Ability to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Follows all food safety and equipment safety procedures
- Knowledge of and compliance with community quality standards and requirements
- Must be dependable, punctual, self-motivated, and able to work without constant supervision
- Must possess Serv-Safe certification, or willing to obtain upon hire
