Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •Valid driver's license from your state of residence with appropriate endorsements and a clean driving record

• •Ability to inspect, repair, and maintain multiple types of diesel-powered equipment
• •Ability to adjust equipment, repair or replace defective parts
• •Ability to diagnose faults or malfunctions using testing equipment
• •Ability to clean or perform maintenance work
• •Ability to perform quality preventative maintenance as per the detailed schedule on a consistent basis
• •Ability to perform preventive maintenance inspections as specified using mechanic tools and shop equipment which may include hydraulic, electric, hand and air tools
• •Ability to perform diagnostic tests for routine maintenance procedures and determine a course of action for damaged parts and systems
• •Ability to diagnose malfunctions or problems using a computerized system or testing equipment to determine the root cause of any issues
• •Ability to repair malfunctioning components, retrofit engines, change brakes, adjust steering systems, replace worn-out parts and change hydraulic fluids
• •Ability to use computerized equipment along with cutting torches, pneumatic wrenches, hydraulic jacks, screwdrivers, pliers, mallet and precision gauges
• •Ability to test drive trucks before and after repairs, as needed

• •Experience with end dump and pneumatic trailers

• •Must be able to perform tire changes and maintenance
• •Strong knowledge of health and safety standards required for the role
• •Must be able to work in a manner to ensure your personal safety and that of fellow employees by following Company safety guidelines and following company policies

• •A Diesel Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining multiple types of diesel-powered equipment
• •Duties include adjusting equipment, repair or replace defective parts, diagnosing faults or malfunctions using testing equipment, and cleaning or performing maintenance work
• •Cleaning, lubricating, and performing other maintenance work
• •Performance of an individual daily fleet of location units, correcting fluids and checking functions as required
• •Perform quality preventative maintenance as per the detailed schedule on a consistent basis
• •Perform preventive maintenance inspections as specified using mechanic tools and shop equipment which may include hydraulic, electric, hand and air tools
• •Perform diagnostic tests for routine maintenance procedures and determine a course of action for damaged parts and systems
• •Diagnosing malfunctions or problems using a computerized system or testing equipment to determine the root cause of any issues
