Job Summary
Diesel Truck Maintenance Technician responsible for repairs and maintenance of diesel trucks (and forklifts where applicable). Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform repairs to ensure equipment operates per manufacturer specifications and regulations. Read and interpret work orders and technical manuals; conduct safety inspections (FMCSA/compliance); test repaired equipment for proper performance; prioritize repairs; document repair orders; handle emergency breakdowns. Requires 1+ year experience or trade school, valid driver’s license, DOT physical and drug screen, MVR check, and English proficiency. 2nd shift (3:30pm-12:00am), Monday–Friday. Must be able to use hand tools and test equipment, read manuals, communicate effectively, and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 70 lbs and working in a shop environment. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience and/or completion of a trade school or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- DOT physical and drug screen
- Acceptable MVR
- Own tools
- Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals
- English proficiency
- Physical ability to perform maintenance and repair tasks on equipment (lift 10-70 lbs, stand for long periods)
