Job Summary
Diagnose and repair tractors and trailers, performing preventative maintenance, special inspections, and general repairs in accordance with DOT, federal, and state regulations. Conduct annual systematic 90-day inspections to ensure equipment meets federal FHWA standards and perform HM inspections. Adhere to all established safety (OSHA) and environmental policies, including proper procedures for handling hazardous wastes. Requires high school diploma or GED, experience with inspection and test equipment for cargo tank inspections, and proficiency in English. Must own tools. OSHA and environmental compliance are essential.
