Job Summary
Inspect, repair, and maintain diesel trucks and trailers to meet safety and performance standards; diagnose and fix diesel engine issues from minor tune-ups to major overhauls; perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and brake inspections; troubleshoot and repair trailer systems including brakes, suspension, lighting, and hydraulics; ensure safety compliance and keep accurate maintenance records; work as part of a skilled team to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience as a diesel and/or trailer mechanic
- CDL or certifications are a plus but not required
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
