Job Summary
Determine causes of malfunctions using approved troubleshooting guides, service manuals, or test drives. Perform requested labor operations, document all work performed, and obtain approval for additional tasks before proceeding. Promote sales of labor, parts, and accessories to meet customer needs while maintaining housekeeping and cleaning customer vehicles. Order parts according to dealership procedures, tag warranty parts, and return dirty cores to parts in a timely manner. Perform repairs adhering to manufacturer standard repair time guidelines. Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring all work areas remain organized. Valid driver's license and high school diploma required; salary ranges from $40,000 to $100,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Must provide own hand tools
- Must pass a background check, physical, and drug screen
- Must pass background & criminal records check, physical exam and drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Commercial Driving License
- Heavy Duty truck experience
- Technical training school or equivalent experience
