Diesel Technician

Determine cause of malfunction using manufacturers approved troubleshooting guides, test drive vehicles, or refer to service manuals. Perform requested labor operations using recommended procedures, tools, and equipment while promoting sales of labor, parts, and accessories to meet customer needs. Document work performed and applicable technical information, noting additional needed work and obtaining approval before proceeding. Clean all parts worked on and keep customer vehicles clean, maintaining housekeeping and organization of personal work areas. Maintain tools and equipment, order parts according to dealership procedures, tag warranty parts, and return dirty cores to parts in a timely manner. Perform repairs within manufacturers standard repair time guidelines. Requires valid driver's license, high school diploma or GED, and own hand tools; background check, physical, and drug screen required. Salary $40,000-$100,000.
