Job Summary
Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on machinery, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and fuel systems. Conduct complex repairs and troubleshoot issues reported by drivers or operators to ensure proper equipment functioning. Respond promptly to customer needs, communicate job progress to supervisors, complete service reports, order parts, and maintain clear customer records while servicing calls in the field. Requires a two-year technical degree or equivalent experience, knowledge of undercarriage and track systems, and a valid driver's license. Competitive pay ranges from $25.00 to $50.00 per hour based on experience, with ongoing technical training and advancement opportunities available.
Required Qualifications
- Two year technical degree and/or equivalent job experience in any of the above fields
- Knowledge of hydraulics, transmissions, undercarriage, track systems and components, pneumatic, electrical and fuel systems
- Previous experience working on Volvo equipment
- Excellent diagnostic and trouble-shooting skills
- Positive attitude and desire to provide outstanding customer service
- Computer, written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's license
- Insurable driving record
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working on Volvo equipment is a plus, but not required
