Job Summary
Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on machinery, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and fuel systems. Carry out complex repairs and troubleshoot issues reported by drivers or operators to ensure proper functioning. Respond promptly to customer needs, communicate job progress to supervisors, and complete service reports while ordering parts. Field Technicians will travel to service calls for On Highway, Construction, and Agriculture equipment. Requires a two-year technical degree or equivalent experience, knowledge of undercarriage and track systems, and a valid driver's license. Competitive pay ranges from $25.00 to $50.00 per hour with ongoing technical training and advancement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Two year technical degree and/or equivalent job experience in any of the above fields
- Knowledge of hydraulics, transmissions, undercarriage, track systems and components, pneumatic, electrical and fuel systems
- Previous experience working on Volvo equipment
- Excellent diagnostic and trouble-shooting skills
- Positive attitude and desire to provide outstanding customer service
- Computer, written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's license
- Insurable driving record
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
