Job Summary
Repair and maintain fleet trucks, trailers, forklifts, and equipment by diagnosing mechanical, electrical, ABS, brake, suspension, hydraulic, and air systems. Utilize diagnostic software and scan tools to perform both shop and mobile repairs, accurately documenting all work while delivering honest quality workmanship. Maintain a clean driving record and own basic technician tools required for field service. This full-time role involves approximately 40–45 hours per week with limited nights, weekends, and on-call rotation to support a 24/7 fleet maintenance company. Candidates must have at least two years of diesel truck or trailer repair experience, with ASE certifications and welding skills preferred. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of diesel truck or trailer repair experience
- diagnose and repair brakes, suspension, ABS, electrical, air, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- use diagnostic software and scan tools
- own basic tools and have a clean driving record
- Take pride in quality work and solving problems—not just replacing parts
- Communicate professionally with customers and teammates
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must own basic technician tools
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and perform physical work in shop and field environments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- 40–45 hours/week with limited nights, weekends, and on-call rotation
- Schedule flexibility is required
